Derval O’Rourke has qualified for the semi finals of the 100 metres hurdles at the World Championship in South Korea.

The Leevale athlete finished second in her heat in a time of 13.07 (13 point zero seven) , sprinter Paul Hession finished 4th in his heat for the 200 metres and will not progress to the semi finals.
The women’s 400 metres re-lay team failed to progress after finishing fourth in their heat.
