O Halloran ‘Frustrated’ At Women’s Rugby Stoppage

Kilkishen native Clodagh O Halloran says it’s frustrating that women’s rugby can’t proceed during enhanced COVID restrictions despite the men’s game doing so.

The 24-year-old, who lines out for both UL Bohemians and the Munster women’s side, hasn’t played competitively in nearly a year due to lockdown and injuries.

She will be appearing with her family, including former Clare hurler dad James, in this weekend’s Ireland’s Fittest Family.

O Halloran says the women’s game still has some catching up to do in terms of professionalism.

Ireland’s Fittest Family airs on RTÉ One on Sunday at 6.30pm.
