O Gara out of Ireland squad for France game

Ronan O’Gara has been left out of the Ireland squad for next weekends Six Nations game with France which could be the end of his international career.

The Munster outhalf is Ireland’s most capped player with 128 appearances but Declan Kidney has opted for Paddy Jackson and Ian Madigan as the back up out-halves to Jonathan Sexton.

Sexton is a major injury doubt for the game at the Aviva on Saturday due to a hamstring injury while Jackson started at 10 in the defeat to Scotland last week.

Dan Tuohy, Tommy O’Donnell, Robbie Diack Dave Kearney and Eoin O’Malley have all been included in the extended 32 man squad.
