The 34-year-old was punished after a stamp on Italian flanker Simone Favaro during the final weekend of this year’s Six Nations finale.

After receiving the written judgement, the decision not to appeal means that O’Driscoll will have to sit-out Leinster’s trip to London on April 5th.

Elsewhere, Paul O’Connell has retained his place in the Munster starting side for tomorrow’s Pro-12 clash with Glasgow.

After making his first appearance for the province in almost 6 months last weekend, the veteran second-row will be looking to improve his fitness levels ahead of the Heineken Cup quarter-final against Harlequins.

Head coach Rob Penney has made five changes to his side for the trip to Scotstoun.

Mike Sherry and BJ Botha come into the front-row in place of Damien Varley and Stephen Archer while Paddy Butler replaces the injured Sean Dougall in the back-row.

In the back-line, Johne Murphy starts on the wing instead of the injured Denis Hurley while Duncan Williams replaces Cathal Sheridan at scrum half.
