In hurling news and Clare defender Domhnall O Donovan faces a battle to be fit for Clare Munster semi final against either Cork or Tipperray after rupturing a disc in his back.
The Clonlara clubman has been ruled out of this weekends county senior hurling fixtures and may also miss next month’s provincial semi final.
