The vice-captain of the Clare ladies footballers says her side are ready for a battle with Meath in their All Ireland Intermediate semi final this weekend.

James Murrihy’s charges head to Portlaoise on Saturday knowing their 60 minutes away from a place in the final for the first time since their narrow 2016 defeat to Kildare.

The two sides drew when they met in the league back in February, with Clare clawing their way back from eight points down in the second half.
