Kerry and Mayo must do it all again after they played out a thrilling draw in today’s All-Ireland senior football semi-final at Croke Park.
A last minute point by Paddy Durcan secured Mayo yet another replay, which will take place next Saturday at Croke Park at a time to be confirmed.
The sides were level at 2-5 to 1-8 at the break, with Mayo’s goals coming from from Andy Moran and Colm Boyle.
In between those scores, Stephen O’Brien found the back of the net for the Kingdom.
Mayo stretched their lead to 3 points at one stage in the second half, before Johnny Buckley got Kerry’s second goal, netting a rebound after a great save from David Clarke.
However Mayo responded well to that setback, and both sides slotted over some excellent scores late in the game despite awful conditions at Headquarters.
The full-time score: Kerry 2-14 Mayo 2-14.
Earlier Kerry booked their place into yet another All-Ireland minor football final.
They saw off a late fightback from Cavan to win out by 2-22 to 2-10.
