Munster GAA have confirmed that Wednesday night's Munster Hurling League game between Clare and Cork will stand as fixed.

It had been though the game could have been postponed until Friday night after Clare management raised concerns about the demands placed on their squad, with 13 of the current panel set to see Fitzgibbon Cup action tomorrow.

It means the majority of the squad will have played 3 games in as many days.

Clare need to beat Cork to reach the final where they would face the Rebels again.

Throw in is at 7.30pm on Wednesday night in O'Garney Park Sixmilebridge.

On the field, Clare got back to winning ways with a 2-19 to 3-13 win over the Deise in Fraher Field, their second victory in this years competition.
