Clare boss Brian Lohan admits his side paid the price for a poor defensive showing in the opening half of their Munster hurling championship loss to Tipperary.
Four goals inside the opening 21 minutes saw the Premier set the foundations for victory, as they led by nine points at the break.

Clare did restore parity inside the closing quarter, but four of the last five points for Liam Cahills side saw them run out winners.
Lohan says giving up that many goals is not something you can get away with.
