County secretary Pat Fitzgerald outlined that permission had been granted by Croke Park to extend the deadline for reducing to a 16 team championship until the end of 2024.
Chairman Kieran Keating stated that the Master Fixtures committee would be working off the basis of an 18 team championship for the coming year and will have a draft fixtures document to present to clubs at the February meeting
