All officers of the board were returned at the 2016 Convention with Joe Cooney returned for a second term as chairman.
A motion to reduce the Clare Senior Football Championship from 16 teams to 12 in 2018 was passed
The meeting also heard that intercounty expenses jumped this year by about €103,000, due to an increase in backroom management teams and a longer involvement in the Championship for the footballers.
National League returns were up by almost €150,000 thanks to both county sides winning their respective competitions.
Games motions were deferred to be dealt with at that first meeting of the New Year.
