Newmarket are county senior hurling champions after a 3-10 to 0-09 win over Cratloe today.

The Blues led by 2-6 to 0-06 at the break-Shane O Brien scoring two first half goals-the first inside 90 seconds.
Cratloe tried to rally in the second half but could not get past a determined Newmarket rearguard and Colin Ryan’s late goal sealed the club’s first county title in 31 years.
Earlier Ruan lost to Silvermines by 1-15 to 0-06 in the Munster club intermediate championship.
