Newmarket Celtics bid to claim four Prego Menswear Clare Cup titles in a row is still alive after they booked their spot in this years final.

A second half hat trick from David McCarthy along with strikes from Daithi O'Connell and Eoin Hayes saw them beat Burren United 5-2 in their semi final clash last evening at the County Grounds in Doora.
Second Division Burren almost held out until half time, but Hayes struck for the opener just before half time to see Newmarket lead 1-0 at the break.
McCarthy then pounced for his trio with O'Connell rounding off the scoring, and Newmarket now face Bridge United in the decider on May 30th.
Newmarket can also claim the Premier Division title on Wednesday night if they beat Hermitage at the Fairgreen.
