The manager of the defending FAI Junior Cup champions is looking forward to his side getting their new campaign underway.
Last season saw Newmarket Celtic make history by becoming the first Clare side to win the competition after beating St Michael’s of Tipperary in the final.

Their first outing as champions comes on Sunday afternoon when they make the trip to Kerry to face Castleisland.
Manager Paddy Purcell says there is a sense of the unknown coming into the game but is confident they will be ready for the challenge.
