Newmarket Celtic have added yet another prestigious national title to their trophy cabinet.
Just over three months on from capturing the clubs first ever FAI Junior Crown, Celtic faced off against Intermediate Champions, Rockmount FC last night in the Tom Hand Memorial Final.

The Cork men started the brighter in Ballingarry taking a 1-0 lead into the second half , however a brace of goals from Newmarket sharpshooter, Ethan Fitzgerald saw the Banner men prevail on a full time score of 2 -1.
The result sees Paddy Purcell’s charges become the first Clare side to claim the national cup winners cup.
