Newmarket Celtic make their bid for a record tenth consecutive Clare Cup title on Saturday evening.

Mark O’Malley’s side face the first of two crucial games against Avenue United in a five day period, with the Cup and League crowns to be fought out between the two rivals.

Former FAI Junior International Player of the Year Eoin Hayes is in a race against time to be fit for the game, having damaged his ankle in last weekends league defeat to Shannon Town.
