Newmarket bring Crusheen’s unbeaten Clare Cup run to an end

Crusheen's unbeaten start to this years Clare Cup has come to an end.

They were beaten 2-16 to 1-9 by Newmarket on Fergus last night, in what was just the Blues second win in 2015.

The action continues this evening.

There's an east Clare derby in store as O'Callaghans Mills host Feakle, while Clooney/Quin host Inagh/Kilnamona.

Both of those throw in at 6pm.

At 6.45pm, Sixmilebridge put their unbeaten record on the line and can go into the outright lead when Clarecastle are the visitors to O'Garney Park, while two sides with just one win so far meet when Cratloe host Clonlara.

In Division 1B,

It's a 2pm start this afternoon as Tulla travel to take on Broadford.

Two more games this evening as Eire Óg take on Scariff and Tubber go up against Wolfe Tones.

Both of those are underway at 6.45pm

The meeting of Kilmaley and Whitegate will now be doubled up as the two sides also meet in the championship opener at the end of the month.
