A new GAA club is to be formed in south-east Clare.
It’s after the Parteen and Meelick clubs voted overwhelmingly to merge as a new entity, to be known as Parteen-Meelick GAA and camogie club.

The next meeting of Clare GAA, scheduled for next month, will rubber stamp the move.
Chairperson of Parteen GAA, Mike Lynch, says being open and transparent with its members has been key to the move.
