Ballyhaunis native Eoghan Collins will line out at corner back, having transferred to his father John's native county.
He's also a nephew of Clare boss Colm Collins.
Collins lined out for Mayo in hurling last year, playing a central role in their run to the Nicky Rackard title.
He's currently studying in Mary Immaculate College.
