The Clare Ladies Football executive saw sweeping changes at last night’s AGM in Ennis.
2013 Chairperson Davy Browne was defeated in a vote for next year, with Wolfe Tones’ Bernie Regan moving into the position after serving as secretary this year.
Outgoing PRO Paul McKenna takes up the position of Secretary going uncontested, James Lafferty will continue as Treasurer and the roles of Registrar and PRO were not filled last night.
The remaining positions and discussion of bye laws was postponed until a meeting on January 7th, as last night’s AGM ran into its fifth hour.
The inter-county managers for 2014 were also ratified at last night’s meeting.
Pat Hanarahan will oversee the Under 14’s, with Aidan Moloney managing the Under 16’s.
2013 Minor Manager Davy Browne failed to secure the support of delegates for next year, and will be replaced by Martin Nolan while John Burke will continue on at the helm of Clare’s senior ladies footballers.
He has called a meeting with the county board, to put a plan to the officers, and says he will then officially put his backroom team in place.
