Nash begins bid for All Ireland honours

Clare’s Diarmuid Nash will begin his bid for  40×20 All Ireland  honours  in St Coman’s in Roscommon this Sunday  as he faces  Stephen Cooney of Mayo.

The Tumagraney club man won a world title in 2012 and is one of the early favourites to claim national honours ahead of the finals next month  

The Clare man is expecting a tough battle against Cooney :

and Kilkishen’s  Colin Crehan has been named  Youth male player of the year at the national  All Star awards.
