Murray withdraws from French Open

Andy Murray has withdrawn from the French Open after failing to recover from a back injury.

The problem had forced the world number two to retire hurt midway through his first match at an event in Rome last week.

Murray says it’s a "tough decision" to miss the second Grand Slam of the season, but added his focus was to get "back on the court as soon as possible".
