Clare goalkeeper Doireann Murphy has been announced as the 2022 Munster Camogie Player of the Year.
The Clarecastle clubwoman will be recognised for her outstanding performances during the Banner’s campaign, conceding just one goal during her sides run to the final.
That included the Munster final which saw her keep a clean sheet in a game that went to double extra time before Cork prevailed, while her vital saves over two games with Tipperary were critical in Clare’s progress.
This weekends Munster GAA awards event will also see 1992 Munster championship winner Noel Roche inducted into the Hall of Fame, while long serving secretary Pat Fitzgerald will recieve a Distinguished Service award after his retirement this year.
