Munster To Use Connacht Clash As Prep For Pro 12 Semi Final

Munster look set to use Saturday’s clash with Connacht as preparation for their Pro 12 semi-final.

The province have booked home advantage for the semi-final – they’ll almost certainly face Welsh opposition as Scarlets and Ospreys are in line to be the visitors to Thomond Park.

Before that, Connacht will make the trip to Limerick.

Ahead of that game, Munster’s Rhys Marshall has said they’re glad to have their semi-final fate already sealed.

Elsewhere, Tadhg Furlong, Connor Murray, Robbie Henshaw and last years winner CJ Stander have all been nominated for the Rugby players Ireland Zurich Players’ Player of the Year Award.

Joey Carberry, Garry Ringrose and Darren Sweetnam have been nominated for the Nevin Spence young player of the year

Finally in soccer, Monaco take on Juventus tonight in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
