Munster have been beaten in the semi-final of the M Donnelly Inter-Provincial Hurling competition.

They lost to Connacht 1-18 to 0-16 in Ballinasloe, despite leading by four points at half-time.
Six Clare players – Brendan Bugler, John Conlon, Patrick Donnellan, Patrick Kelly, Domhnall O'Donovan and Colin Ryan – had been part of the Munster panel for the game.
Connacht now play Leinster in the decider, after they thrashed Ulster.
Meanwhile, Clare lost out to Tipperary 5-11 to 0-1 in the All Ireland Minor Camogie Championship.
