The 2014 Munster Senior Hurling Championship gets underway today with meeting of Cork and Waterford in Thurles.

Cork have handed championship debuts to three of their panel for today's game, with dual star Aidan Walsh starting in midfield, Mark Ellis getting the nod at centre half back and Alan Cadogan taking his place at corner forward.
Waterford have named four Championship debutants in their team, with Tadgh Burke, Colin Dunford, Barry Coughlan and Austin Gleeson all getting the nod in the first 15.
Throw in at Semple Stadium is at 4pm, with the All Ireland champions Clare awaiting the winners in the semi final on June 15th.
