Munster Ladies Gaelic Football Appeals Committee heard an appeal between the Clare board and its former chairman on Friday night.

The Doonbeg clubman appealed the results of the elections on December 10th on the grounds that procedure was not followed according to the rules of the Association.

Browne was defeated for the Chairman position and also in the contest for the 2014 Clare Minor team manager

The Munster Appeals Committee returned their verdict yesterday, finding in favour of Browne, who says he will not be elaborating on the matter until he speaks with clubs.

Speaking to Clare FM, elected Secretary Paul McKenna says the board will be appealing this decision to a full meeting of Munster Council, and have no other comment to make except that the board and managers will be operating as normal until the process is seen through.

The matter is due to be addressed at that meeting on Thursday for a final and definite result.
