The opening half proved a tight battle between the sides with the game tied at six points a piece at the break.
However the rebels secured three goals in the second half and dominated to a 3-12 to 0-13 victory.
After a busy run of six matches in five weeks with the league final just last weekend, the banner women will now have a break from competitive action as they turn their attention to preparations for the All Ireland Championship which begins at the end of June.
