Davy Fitzgerald’s side have their first competitive outing of the year this Sunday, when they take on Limerick in the Waterford Crystal Cup Quarter final in Sixmilebridge.
The squad will be without all college players, while some more established players are expected to be side-lined as members of the extended panel stake their claim for a place ahead of the National League.
