Clarecastle runner Kevin Mulcaire has become the fastest junior in Ireland over 3000 metres this year.

The teenager ran a time of 8:20.79 to finish in 11th position in a high-quality field at the Cork City Sports last night.
He finished three seconds behind another Clare runner, Rory Chesser.
Elsewhere, several other Ennis Track runners were in action.
Kevin Chesser was second in the 3000m Open event, with Damien Landers and Patrick Chesser in 6th and 7th while Sean Collins was 9th in the 1500m race for Juniors, with Jamie Roche 15th.
