Moynihan: Missed Chances Hurt Us Against Meath

Clare’s Ladies Football Manager says his side was unlucky to lose yesterday’s last eight clash against Meath in the All-Ireland Intermediate Football Championship.

The Banner scored 4-11 against the newly relegated side, but a last minute point from the newly relegated Leinster side gave them the narrowest of wins.

Clare were without Captain Laurie Ryan and Nicole Doherty through injury and Becky Mahon through suspension, although Ryan played the last minutes of the game in an effort to rescue their Championship hopes.

Manager Neil Moynihan says his side missed a few chances to get the better of Meath.
