There was a mixed day of results for Clare schools in the today’s Munster U-19 hurling action.
The last Clare school standing in the TUS Dr Harty Cup, St Flannan’s were defeated by Thurles CBS in Meelick.
The final score was Flannan’s 1-17 Thurles 2-21.
Also in Dr Harty Cup action, Ardscoil Rís, containing a large Clare contingent, defeated Limerick side, Hospital in Kilmallock with a final score of 17 points to 13.

Elsewhere, Scariff Community College have qualified for the U-19 Munster B Hurling Semi-Final.
The East Clare school overcame Tralee CBS by 0-22 to 2-14 in the final round of group fixtures this afternoon.
There will be cause for concern however, as full-forward and Clare Minor Hurling All-Ireland winning captain Eoghan Gunning was withdrawn with an injury.
