The Clare Minor Hurling Manager fully believes that goal-line technology must be introduced following the crucial disallowed free during yesterday’s narrow All Ireland Semi Final defeat to Dublin.
With the sides level right on the hour Clarecastle’s Bobby Duggan appeared to have put his side in front with a free from wide on the right but it was waved wide.
Then just seconds left on the clock a controversial late free for Dublin- when Jamie Shanahan was adjured to have over carried the ball, meant heartbreak for the Banner.
The goal gave Dublin the winning score of 4-14 to 2-17 .
Manager Eamon Fennessey admits that leaking goals didn’t help but fully believed that the Duggan free should have been allowed.
