In the A Championship, Ballyea beat Kilmaley 4-10 to 0-17, Doora Barefield and Feakle/Killanena finished all square at 2-14 a piece, Wolfe Tones beat Inagh/Kilnamona 3-26 to 2-12, Eire Og overcame neighbours Clarecastle by 3-16 to 2-12, while Corofin/Ruan had a 2-12 to 1-6 win over Sixmilebridge.
In the B Championship, Smith O'Briens beat Parteen 3-25 to 0-3, O'Callaghans Mills had a point to spare over Crusheen/Tubber on a 2-9 to 1-11 scoreline, Scariff/Ogonnelloe beat Newmarket on Fergus 2-16 to 2-13 and Ennistymon overcame Whitegate 1-13 to 1-10.
