The Manager of the Clare minors hurlers says last year’s Munster title will matter little when the Banner take to the field for the first game of the season this evening.
Clare begin the defence of their Munster Minor Championship with a clash against Kerry in Tralee, but Donal Moloney has warned that his players cannot rest on their laurels despite being crowned the kings of Munster last July
The Clare camp have been affected by a number of injuries, but will line out with four members of the side which lost out to Kilkenny in last year’s All Ireland Final.
Co-manager Donal Moloney feels while that experience is helpful, it will make no difference in 2011.
