Minogue praises Honan and Mc Grath after U21 win

Starting with gaa news and Clare can look forward to  their third MUnster final in row in 2 weeks time after their Munster semi final win over Limerick last evening.

Clare defeated Limerick by three points in the Gaelic Grounds thanks to an inspired perforance from  Darach Honan who grabbed one goal and   three points.

Speaking to Clare fm after the full time whistle Manager John Minogue felt the game will have been a good preparation for the challenge of Tipperay in Thurles:

the sides were deadlocked at 6 points each at half  time before Conor Mc Grath and Darach Honan combined to grab eight of Clare’s second half total.

Cooraclare take on Lissycasey at 7-30 in Kilmihil while at the same time in Cooraclare Kilrush take on Miltown Sty josephs.

There is also one hurling match this evening as Bodyke take on Feakle in divison 2b at 7-30.
