The clash of Miltown and Kilmurry Ibrickane is set to be the standout tie on the opening weekend of the 2025 TUS Clare senior football championship.
It is the second meeting of the neighbours in 12 months, with Kilmurry running out winners by 2-15 to 0-10 when they clashed at the quarter final stage last year.
Miltown come into the game off the back of victory in the O’Gorman Cup final, and will have county star Eoin Cleary available for the first time this season.
Manager Martin Guerin says while it will be a brilliant game for the fans to enjoy, his focus is on making sure his team are ready to hit the ground running.

Meanwhile Kilrush Shamrocks will begin their bid to return to the senior ranks this weekend as they face the Banner in the opening game of the intermediate championship.
Dermot Coughlan’s charges have already claimed the Garry Cup and with it, a place in the Cusack Cup for next year.
Clare FM analyst Joe Garry says they are well placed to continue that form.
