The man who led Miltown to a first Clare SFC title since 1990 says the win will be a huge lift to the entire parish.
A strong closing period in which they outscored Cooraclare by 0-5 to 0-1 saw Miltown claim a 0-13 to 0-9 win, and with it their 13th senior title.
Manager Michael Neylon says the win is a huge credit to the work they've put in.
Meanwhile one of the men who played a central role in Miltown's win was Gordon Kelly.
Kelly, who has also lined out for years with Clare, was one of the defensive lynchpins throughout the 60 minutes.
He says the win is not just down to the players on the field
