Miltown and Doonbeg are hoping to extend their championship season by at least another fortnight this weekend.
The West Clare rivals meet in Kilmihil tomorrow evening in the preliminary quarter final of the TUS Clare senior football championship.
Miltown come into the game having seen a five point lead slip in their last outing against St Breckans, while Doonbeg held off a late challenge from Kilmihil to advance.
Clare FM analyst Paudie Carmody feels that form line could feed into the narrative of the game.

Meanwhile survival in the top tier of the championship is on the line when Kilmihil and Kildysart face off this evening.
The winners will secure a place in the senior championship for 2026 while the losers face one last chance against Wolfe Tones in the relegation final.
That one is set for a 7.30pm start in Cooraclare.
