Mills Mulls Further Olympic Appeal

Joanna Mills says that she needs to decide whether or not to she’ll appeal the decision to leave her out of the Irish 4 by 400 metre relay team for the London Olympics.

The Ballymena teenager hasn’t ruled-out an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport after the Olympic Council of Ireland panel decided to uphold Catriona Cuddihy’s appeal and re-instate her in the squad ahead of Milles.

Cuddihy was originally named in a team of six by Athletics Ireland, but Mills took her place after an appeal.

Mills and her coach, Ian Neely say that they will meet with their legal advisors this afternoon when they will decide whether or not to lodge an appeal.
