Banner GAA are bidding to reach a first provincial hurling final in the clubs history next weekend.
The Shanaway Road based side overcame Kerry outfit Kilgarvan in the Munster junior quarter-final, and now host Limerick’s St Kieran’s in their last four tie on Saturday in Cusack Park.

County star Shane Meehan accounted for 2-11 of their tally on the day, as the Banner registered a 2-15 to 1-15 win.
It was a first outing for the Banner since losing out in the Clare junior championship in August, and Meehan says having such a gap between games was a concern going into the provincial campaign
