Pat McQuaid will not be nominated by Cycling Ireland for a third term as president of the world governing body, the UCI.

They held an Emergency General Meeting this morning where it was put to a vote.
Mr McQuaid was seeking the backing of his home union but his candidacy came under criticism as a result of the fall-out from the Lance Armstrong doping scandal.
He is also seeking the nomination in Switzerland, where he resides, but that is facing a legal challenge.
