McEvoy Hoping For Breakthrough In 2020

An Ennis based swimmer says he’s hoping to bring Clare’s name to the International swimming stage next year.

Rory McEvoy was speaking after retaining his 100m backstroke title at the Irish Short Course Championships recently – an event where he also took two silver medals and set a number of personal best times.

The Ennis Swimming and Life-saving club man is no stranger to silverware – the 21 year old has sixteen national titles under his belt already.
