McDermott feels fresh voice needed for Clare set up

 Micheál Mc McDermott has revealed he felt a fresh voice was needed in the Clare senior football set up for the forthcoming season which led to his stepping down on Tuesday.

The Cavan native indicated to the County board that he did not wish to continue for a fourth year in charge of the Clare senior footballers having taken over in 2009.
