2017 will see the Banner competing in Division 2 of the National Football League, while they will look to build on last years championship campaign which only ended at the hands of Kerry in the All Ireland Quarter Final.
The new season gets underway in early January for the McGrath Cup with the National League opener against Derry on the first weekend of February.
McConville says it's vital Clare build on what's already been achieved.
