Clare’s hopes of reaching this years Munster U20 football final are over after a second loss of the Phase Two series.
Goals in either half for Tipperary saw them register a 2-16 to 0-17 victory over Maurice Walsh’s side in New Inn.

Senior panellist Sean McAllister is now an injury concern for their semi final against the Premier on April 19th, as he suffered a shoulder injury in the closing stages of the contest that saw him leave the field in a sling.
Manager Maurice Walsh felt the result didnt match his sides performance, but felt their inconsistency throughout the championship was a telling factor.
Last nights result now means that Clare’s final round tie against Kerry is a dead rubber, with the Kingdom already through to the decider.
