Killaloe’s Jonathon McGrath has just missed out on a spot in the final of the 400m Freestyle S8 event at the Paralympic Games in London.
The Killaloe teenager, a UL student, finished fourth in his heat today at the Aquatic Centre, in a time of 4.53.25 seconds. However, this was only good enough for Jonathan to claim ninth overall in the event – 8 go through to this evening’s final.
