Ex Clare manager Micheal Mc Dermott has revealed that missing out on promotion by a single point in 2010 is his biggest regret from his time in charge of the county.
The Cavan native decided on Tuesday evening not to seek a fourth term in charge of Clare-having been at the helm since November 2009.
Speaking to Clare FM the former championship winning manger with Kilmurray Ibrickane felt that losing the penultimate game against Limerick in the Div four campign when a draw would have secured promotion was the most devastaing result of his tenure.
