Victory over Crusheen gave Joe McGraths side their second ever county title, and set up the first leg of a historic hurling and football title double.
Cratloe now face a Munster Club Hurling Quarter Final against Waterford champions Ballygunner, and Markham says they're looking forward to the challenge.
Meanwhile a member of the Ballygunner management team says he doesn't believe Cratloe's dual exploits will have taken their toll.
