Kilmurray Ibrickane manager John Keneddy believes a draw was the fairest result after last night’s round one county senior championship tie with Cratloe last evening in Cusack park.
The game ended deadlocked despite 80 minutes of football-with the sides ending 1-12 to 0-15 after normal and extra time.
Keneddy admitted that it has been hard to concentrate on football in light of recent events in West clare :
Cratloe boss Colm Collins is confident that Cathal Mc inerney will be fit for the replay on Sunday having missed last night through injury.
Collins also admitted to Clare FM that his side enjoyed some luck in raising the game’s only green flag in the first half :
The replay has been fixed for this Sunday at 6-30 in Cusack park which means Lissycasey and Eire Og will both have to wait until after the weekend to find out their round two opponents.
